OFFICIAL STOCK MARKET & ECONOMY THREAD VOL. SCHOOL'S OUT

I'm gonna regret it, but I jumped on Twitter at 45. We'll see what happens.

Also eying fb for a bounce

In my opinion both the daily and weekly charts for the Nasdaq are indicating that tomorrow will be a pretty important day.   If there is another down day it will most likely break the charts trend and the next move would probably be to test 4000.

Nevermind. Dat gap doe. Seems like risk-reward not very good for now.

Same applies to NFLX, although that RSI of 22......it hasn't been this low on their daily since sub-100 (mid-2012)

based mod based mod they might have short term bounces but there could def be more downside. Although today's candle on FB looks like a pivot potentially

A lot of momentum charts looking toppish here

Pretty good day for me overall. Really need ISRG to do something. Gonna need to reexamine it for the Apr 160 call i have and see if I need to take the L soon

Added more BIIB today at 294.50

What's your rationale for averaging down here? Bios in general look like they're gonna keep sliding

Read Jesse Livermore's How To Trade in Stocks, Benjamin Graham's The Intelligent Investor and William O'Neill's book.

Create a paper trader account with ThinkOrSwim so you could get your feet wet without risking any real money. Strongly urge you to spend time refining your skills without cash on the line first.

Anyone been watching WORC ? Wake up now stock. the company is really all about a pyramid scheme type thing. It's getting hot in the streets

On the 25th it was under a dollar, it peaked at $4 yesterday the 28th

I know nothing about WORC but it looks like it may become a victim of the 3 day rule. I'd be weary due to the very low volume—you want OTCs with liquidity so you don't have to worry about fills—and the sell off end of day. Probably gaps up on Monday and gets shorted once its 9:45 AM. I'm still learning penny stocks, so I may be wrong and perhaps someone else could shed more light.

Watch these videos about the 3-day or 3-bar rule, the 15 minute pullback, and penny stock basics. I've found them helpful to understand the OTC market and the game plan one should have.

Ok guys one more question. Again about WORC stock. Look at this
400

It was at $10 earlier today. So basically if I get a scott trade/etrade account or whatever. And I buy 800 shares of WORC at (what was $3.30). I would pay a total of $2,640. Now if I sold it all today for $10. Id get a total of $8,000. So a profit of about $5000 after taking out fees and stuff???

Is this how it works?? Who exactly would I be selling it to. If this is how it really is I need to get an account asap cus it's money out there that needs to be in my pockets

Someone help me lol

flyny flyny yes that is basically how it works. You would be selling to another trader, investor, mutual fund, hedge fund, etc. Selling at the exact top is a skill, an extremely difficult one, that comes with experience

In other news, I opened a new FNMA long position today. 3.72 is my buy price. Saw good volume early and like the price action. Some technical signals are turning or about to turn bullish again. I am adding more tomorrow if the stock acts well

There are a bunch of OTC/penny/subpenny stocks that are setup nicely for further ad*****s. I will highlight a few in tonight's watch list
