Is Kanye worth seeing live?
I've never been to a hip-hop concert before.

I traveled 5 hours to Milwaukee from Michigan to see him, the car broke down the next day, we had to walk 2 miles to a grey hound station, and ride a grey hound home. What should have taken 5 hours, took 16 to get home. The kid who's car broke down said if he had known that would happen, he still would have gone to the show. It was THAT good.

The Glow in The Dark Tour was the best concert experience I've ever had. Musically, visually, the energy of the crowd. It was like Disney had produced it. Unreal. I wish he would have came out with a DVD of the tour to relive that moment.

Kanye attaches his name to that garbage APC nonsense and it makes me look at him sideways

...then i hear rants like this and remember why i grew to appreciate this man as an artist

can't ever doubt this man's passion

and for the record he wasn't off base at all with the Taylor Swift incident

So you think Beyonce had the best video of all time?

ALL THIS
That's why i thought they weren't letting people film it, because DVD was on the way. or atleast a live CD of it. That version of "can't tell me nothing" where he would say a line the audience would do the next and so forth with no music and just the woman singing "oh Ohhhh OHHHH" :x

Cosign, it was the best concert I've experienced as well. What are the chances a DVD ever comes out? All this talk got me wanting to relive that.

So this is what y'all want to be when you grow up? I enjoy a lot of Kanye's product, but I couldn't stand being around him in a personal setting. I'm sure the same can be said about most celebs though...you have to have a special kind of insecurity to be a celebrity.

The thing about Kanye is the same stuff we hate him for (ego, paranoid, drama queen) are the core fundamental reasons of why he is such a great talent (passion, ego, paranoia, determination to be the best.)

You can't have one without the other. The same reason we expect Kanye  to go nuts at award shows just because he didn't win is the same reason we expect nothing but greatness when he puts out a solo project.
