Oh i've heard of it and I live/from Baltimore and I know about our murder rate. Joke would make sense if we were talking about some other city where this is uncommon.

They understand it but they choose to be ignorant because it's not their problem.
Not excusing the murders but holiday weekends when it's hot outside are usually like this in the city ...plus the police been on chill mode/pretty hands off So all that leads to the increase in bodies lately
A year or 2 ago some dude aired out a whole cook out ...killed alotta ppl in a weekend similar to this past one
And the 4th coming up too :x
That was echoed on CNN.
Said if police aren't wanted in those neighborhoods why should the put forth the effort and risk of protecting those who dont want to be protected?

With this nonsense going on the leaders and older people in these communities are going to have to start learning how to "police" themselves if they want to see real change take place. The actual police can only do so much in a situation like this.
