So i received a mass email about a party in Baltimore this weekend....

The group that sent the email did not put the emails in the BCC section or disclose the recipient list properly leaving everyones email wide open.

Anyways.

I check my inbox a few minutes later, and there is a RE:

Damn so :censored: got some money to throw a party but not pay bills ? That's crazzzyyyyy.



with a follow up email RE:

Yea what's up with that, for real.



moral of the thread? PLEASE SCREEN YOUR EMAIL LIST BEFORE EMAIL BLASTING!!


which also leads me to my next question....

..in a world of recession, with national giant chain stores such as Best Buy, and Circuit City & Starbucks cutting back and closing down doors left andright, do you see any local spots doing the same anytime soon?

just a thought.

As I discussed with a few people @ D.A.R. last Saturday, times like these, you clearly recognize the real from the phony.

The *real* hustlers are still getting paper.

Others, i.e. depending on credit, dropping like flies.

Local stores? NO comment.

But, I went to Virginia Center Commons Mall last night off 95.

Never saw so many empty spots in that mall/food court, with more to come.

Well if this email were a Bcc instead of a Cc I wouldn't have been able to respond to anybody else. I didn't know that Cc'ing like 400 people was very professional but hey :censored: knows how to conduct business the best!

so i replied with everyone in the BCC to the individual who thought this was unprofessional.

I agree.

A majority of the users within this email would deem this as unprofessional but im sure WE ALL see the position of the business deeming a retailer as not trustworthy with finances; however to air it out due to a mistake of putting contacts in the CC instead of the BCC?


For all we know :censored: probably put their name on this event so they could get some exposure to bring more bodies into their retail space so they can sell products like MISHKA and acquire the funds to pay whatever bill that needs to be paid. Its all about brand support and awareness.

I normally dont step into other individuals business matters, but since I represent the DC, Maryland ,Virginia area, I felt reason to do so.

Nothing against anyone on this email chain. No sides. No nothing...just an opportunity for everyone to take a step back.
