On what depends your purchasing decision?

inspired by a private discussion and a subsequent bet I am interested in your opinion concerning the following statement:

I am of the opinion that － after having decided on the shoe model － the purchase decision depends primarily on the shoe's colourway and its name (apart from the price). What do you think?

Seems more complicated than it needs to be.

If I like the shoe and I have the money than I'll buy.

Yes, you're right...but would you say that a "cool name" makes a shoe more attractive?

I don't think, that "cool name" makes shoes better. I trust Nike, I buy their shoes for a long time and I know they have good quality. Every season I make a research what shoes I need - sporty, casual - and I'm looking for them on Nike webpage or in stores. I choose the model, that fits the best an buying it. No philosophy.
