NT fam,
I wanted to get opinions on the best online source to get a personal loan. I recently moved to a new city for a job and let my old roommate from college “unofficially” take over my lease. Long story short he hasn’t paid and I’m going to evicted in a couple of days.
I’ve never missed a rent payment or credit card in my life, and at the time when I moved I did not have the money to get out of my lease out right. I now make well over six figs and I’m capable of repaying some sort of loan that would be used buy me out of my lease, but I’m having a hard time finding a lender online. I understand that whatever option I’m able to get will have a sky high interest rate, but I have no choice at this point. My credit is admittedly not the best due to utilization (I had to fund moving expenses on one of my CC’s but I have never missed a payment, nor do I have anything in collections or what not)
Any suggestions? I screwed up but I’d rather not have an eviction on my credit and I’m running out of options at this point. While I do make good money (and have in the past), I can’t afford to pay rent in my current city as well as pay rent in my former city or come up with the funds to get out of my prior lease. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
