nice concept man...but ya when i say shading i mean those real quick sketch lines u have. oh, ok i understand, what you want to do is loosen up before you sketch. like whenever you are about to start sketching try to do some quick straight lines (all directions) and some circles and ellipses' to get your arm loose...it helps yeah those foundation classes can be boring/slow but try to learn and glean as much as you can from em' more... air max 180 concept Thanks for the resize....it is a b-ball shoe. The instep is pretty high but only because i felt that the wearer's heel would rest on the air max 180 "bubbles" I didn't really give any details so here it is -Air max 180 basketball shoe. Air max 180 heel (like AM360) The lime green in the mid foot is mesh and holds the laces. The front sole features a free-inspired sole with zoom air. The cut is a bit high but I wanted a higher ankle cut because it is meant for post players and big men.
I think the shape's pretty good. A few things that may make it better are more rake or curvature from the opening down to the heel. Also, the instep is pretty steep, you could balance that out. As far as he design, is it for a bball shoe or a runner? If it is a running shoe I think you need to drop the height of the ankle. Also try to add some depth for it, create some sort of feeling for it (texture). Before me there was many; after me there will be none. I am the one.
Iye2 is pretty spot on with what he said. I think it would be helpful to know a litle about what you were trying to accomplish with this design. To me, it says trainer, but that's just me. I really like the colors you chose. [email protected]
It does look a little trainerish but I also get a Barkley vibe too. I assume its a Force shoe that combines elements of past Barkley shoes including the 180s he wore.
heres a sketch for the ipod theme, i was going to enter it, but i decided it didn't resemble the ipod enough, with this i just tried to make it light and innovative, also there's a sketch of how the foot is locked down, with the TPU stretch cage...
A shoe I did yesterday for the KG contest. I would have started earlier, but only realized the contest was back up 2 days ago :b It's not as clean as an ipod, but I didn't want it to be too plain. Main thing I wanted to do was a stitch free upper and dual density midsole to reflect the opposite sides of the iPod.
