Anyone check this out on Netflix yet?

Just finished the season and this show is pretty good. Sort of like a Female Oz meets Weeds. Similar to Weeds in the comedic relief and the protagonist to antagonist theme for the main character. Similar to OZ in that they feature flashbacks to events from the inmates lives before prison.

This is easier to watch than Oz. Lots of lesbian sex 

The black girls are HILARIOUS.

Jason Biggs character is literally an exact replica of his American Pie character. They even playfully make a reference to a "web-cam mishap" and "masturbation incident" in his youth 

.

Not one of the strongest characters but he's more of a secondary character anyway. The female inmates steal the show with this one.

If you like the first few seasons of Weeds you'd love this show.

Also, they just announced the show was picked up for a 2nd season.

It's well written and takes a couple of episodes to get into IMO (perhaps because I hadn't seen Oz or Weeds). I liked House of Cards so I was willing to try another Netflix original.

I like how they focus a story line around how they each wound up in prison basically. All in all, I think we're 6 episodes in and think the 3 1/2 stars it's gotten is about right.

Jason Biggs character is very fitting for him, but is pretty unbearable all things considered and compared to the rest of the character flow.

Spent 6 hours in prison yesterday with these chicks.

Ole girl from That 70's Show is hot with the black hair and the xxx.

Never seen Weeds but willing to give it a chance after seeing this.

Glad they're bringing it back. I hope it becomes a new trend for Netflix to at least do two seasons of their original series from here on out.

I'm on episode 6. Show is a pleasant surprise. Laura Prepon is looking damn good. The Spanish mom would get it. My heart belongs to Morello though. Would visit her and bring her flowers.

Finished watching this in literally 1 full day... AMAZING SHOW. Had my attention from the jump with the tatas all the way to the final scene... Can't wait for season 2.  Jenji Kohan is the man, Both Weeds and this show are

Also finished it up yesterday. Really good show. Can't wait for season 2.

I lost it when crazy eyes started reciting Shakespeare. That and the meth head healing people had me weak.

Side note: had no idea the main character was that young. I first saw her on mercy and she looked to be in her late twenties in that. I thought she was in her mid to late thirties now.
