^ Man that Hayabusa/Shinzaki match was SOOOOOOOOOO disappointing. I had a function for school so I actually missed it. I saw it for the first time within the last year, talk about disappointment. I was highly.

i remember some wrestler who always comes with a bloody forehead even before he reaches the ring. he smashes a beer can to his forehead.

I got to 3 original ECW shows, but none at the ECW arena. This was before the days of digital cameras, so I don't have any pics.
I was at the first "new" ECW show back at the ECW Arena in 2006. It was good, but not the same.
Then I was at the infamous July 4, 2006 live ECW show where Paul E turned on RVD allowing The Big Show to become the ECW Champion (after RVD's drug bust with Sabu). I helped the garbage fly into the ring.
After that, I think I was at two other "ECW" tapings after Smackdown, but they were awful.

ECW pulled me back into wrestling in 98/99...they used to play it at 1 AM on public access/small station channel 68 out here in LA.

I dunno why ECW hyped the Jerry Lynn/RVD matches like they were the best thing ever.
The technical back forths were great, but the way Joey Styles pushed the matches, it was like he believed it was the greatest thing to happen to ECW.
Anybody remember being all

Yea I wasn't too thrilled with RVS/Lynn matches either. I definitely was a fan of Tajiri/Crazy and Mike Awesome and Masato Tanaka did put on some nice matches. Whichever match @ a PPV where Awesome hit Tanaka with an Awesome Bomb off of the top rope. That was so damn beautiful man.

great thread, i went to the last few ECW shows, Massacre on 34th Street, Guiltyy As Charged and the last show at the Elks Lodge when the Dudleys and Taz returned...also went to the first 2 at the Hammerstein...been to over 50 WWE shows and nothing compared to those 5
