This is a good fit. I still want a year of him in the booth with his brother though.

DANTONI to the Magic and nash signs With them. NASH/Three point shooters/ Dwight. R.i.p the heat.......

sucks for SVG, not warrented imo, but have to keep baby superstar happy.
Otis on the other hand was straight awful.  I mean this guy is a complete idiot, how he lasted this long is beyond me.  I sure any person who spends 20/wk watching nba basketball could have done his job. lets hope he never lands an nba job again.

The Orlando organization should have never tried to appease Dwight Howard at this point.  It's just like with anything else, you never negotiate with terrorists.

Martin just said they don't know the future with Dwight. I guess that makes it official.

Stan is a fine coach. And his resume is pretty impressive to get fired, but when Dwight alone can make you a top defensive team, that takes a lot of the pressure off. He could only play who Otis brought in, but 4 shooters around Dwight hasn't been getting it done in the playoffs, yet they kept doing it. I wouldn't have fired Stan because Dwight's future is uncertain. I don't know think they can bring in anyone that keeps Dwight there since he seems to value the destination over the quality of the team.
It would have been an unpopular opinion, but Orlando should have taken any deal that gives them picks and cap space and try to rebuild immediately. I really hope they don't try to piece together a team once Dwight leaves because a 7th seed and first round exit every year isn't a good idea.

Well that put a damper on anyone hoping to get D12 now.

Orlando franchise went all in. Dwight is the daddy and is running the show.

I'm saying....Orlando's loss. The guys had .600+ winning percentage and a finals appearance.

I can already picture SVG raspy voice during commentary.

*Player hits game-winning shot*

SVG: OHMYYYYYGODDDDDDD!*Joey Style*

Some options that I think could work -

Nets: new location, new arena, Brooks, Lopez (maybe Deron) could put a face on the staff to lead the Brooklyn Nets

Blazers: Already have a solid core - need a good coach

Wizards: Young core - need to be guided

Clippers: Already successful, but VDN is a moron.

The Kings could use him but I'm pretty sure they're still bitter about SVG flaking on them in 2006. He was actually in SACRAMENTO ready to sign but changed his mind last second to go to the Magic.

They didn't learn from what happened to the Cavs in 2010?

Firing the coach and letting go of the GM is NOT going to ensure your star player is staying.

Dwight is still going to leave. But hey, better off cutting everybody involved in my opinion..

Its too bad the Lakers are locked in with Brownie, would've enjoyed seeing SVG in La (maybe as a Clipper

Idiots.

Smith needed to go, but SVG's resume is solid.

They basically wanted to appease their center - a physical specimen who should be dominating night in and night out but doesn't. Good job.
