TC = Toyota Celica. Some people say that the tC is the spiritual successor to the Celica. The one posted above is really clean. I say go with it, it has morestandard features than the Civic, better ergonomics too. The 2AZ is not a bad engine, there's a lot of aftermarket support for it if you want to mod it.Only thing I don't like about Scion is the ricer image, if you go to car shows or see the commercials..they are all about customizing, they advertise theircars to be like a blank canvas. And most of the time, people rice them up. But hey, that's my opinion, don't let it stop you from getting a tC.

I got a tc and love it. been putting 20k miles on it for 3 years already and no problems at all..knock on wood..i drove both cars before purchasing and feltthat the civic lacked torque and the speedometer on the civic is horrible. Both is a good choice but u should really test drive them both before making adecision. good luck

the tc is like a plain civic. not a boys car, not a girls car. just a great pick for the price. reliability and style and function.

Keep in mind the tc is a very mod friendly car, I own an 08 and its really fun and easy to mod. There are so many options to go with it and many ways to mod itto your liking. You can make the car aggressive looking, a sleeper, or just an A to B type car. If you go to scionlife.com and check some of the tcs there,some look amazing, some are over 300hp for you car people. You cant really go wrong with a civic either, both have their pros and cons, but a big plus of thetc, you can fold the seats to make a bed...think about it. =]

my gf has a tc i dont enjoy driving it. it has weird sight lines, and the handling is mehh, but its only 15k.
