Didn't you jinx them?

No, the Patriots got so many breaks that repeating the streak would be nearly impossible.

I really think this is the end of the Patriots' "dynasty". This lose is so devastating, I cant see any team recover from something like this. This reminds me of the Lakers losing to the Pistons in the NBA finals a couple of years back. After the end of that series you knew the Lakers would have tostart all over again.

not with all your players getting old the spying operation shut down by the NFL and Congress

i honestly think the Pats will miss the playoffs within 2-4 years

We'll be in the thick of things next year .. No worries about that .. As long as Brady and Belichick are with the organization, we're fine ..

1.) What we need to do is bring more youth to our defense .. Drafting Meriweather last year was a great start ..
2.) Pay Asante
3.) I would love for us to re-sign Moss, but with the Pats, they have no problem letting receivers go .. (Branch, Givens etc.)
4.) I'm not so sure what we should do with the 49ers pick .. Drafting a LB should be a top priority .. But who knows ..

Tough loss .. But we should be fine next year ..

The patriots are going to be done for a while. Here's why. If Moss stays he'll be back to his old self next year. He was disciplined this year becausehe thought that he could get a championship. Moss WAS the reason that the Pats were great this year. He transformed their offense.

The age of the LB's will catch up and it'll be sooner rather than later.

Your secondary is not impressive.

I really think that the Pats pulled out every gimmick this year and now the NFL have seen all their little tricks (don't mean it in a bad way). The secondhalf of the season they were basically scraping by with wins.

Tom Brady needs to keep his mind off the supermodel chicks and focus onfootball.

offensively, the pats need to re-sign moss and they also have welker. they will need to let stalworth go. which is fine. moss, welker, gaffney is pretty good.maroney is solid.

defensively, we'll lose assante and seau most likely. we need to draft defence with #7.

we won;t be as good next year. we'll be a playoff team. but i see the chargers and the colts being up there too in the AFC. it'll be tough.

....and somebody should take red shirts away from belichick. everytime he wears red, we lose.

This really might have been the last night of the Patriots "dynasty".

I'm just going to quote myself from the other thread:

First off...congratulations to the Giants and their fans. I couldn't be any happier for you guys and I'm happy that at least the city of NY can claim another championship. I would have been rooting right with you guys if it wasn't for the fact that you played this team...image Throw a great parade out there for your team.

Well...the first couple of pages are going to be harsh for some of the fans.

The scandals, Spygate are all that probably going to dominate this thread during the offseason and I'm sure there'll be more non-Pat fans posting in here than the true Patriot fans.

But let us have it NT...tell us how much us and our team sucks right about now. imageimage

What we need to upgrade: defense, defense and defense. Samuels is probably not going to come back and our secondary is garbage (only get INT's here and there). They allow the 20+ yard pass too much...we need big time players on D, get a bit younger since our LB's are all in their mid 30's.

Patriots offseason to-do

1. Resign Moss
2. Resign Samuel
3. Draft an LB (keith rivers, dan connor)
4. Hunt the FA market for young talent.

......maybe make an offer to ocho-cinco......

man, i just wanted my boy Moss get his ring.
no one wanted it more than me man, believe me. i went from sky high when moss caught the go ahead touchdown to the core of the earth low. i was awreck.

i am torn on whether or not i want moss to return to the patriots. brady is really starting to get on my nerves. i guess i want him to re-sign because brady tomoss is indeed the unstoppable toss but i wouldn't mind moss joining forces with farve for farves last hoorah. but with the packers he would have to splitcatches with driver and jennings

. so, i guess being with the pats isthe ideal situation and he should stick with em.

Vrabel, Bruschi, Harrison and Seau aren't getting younger and are getting close to the end of their careers. They need to get younger on the defensiveside of the ball via the draft and FA.

Plus they need to re-sign Moss and restucture a few contracts if re-signing Samuel would be a possibility.

I don't think they need to look at Chad Johnson. I think their WRs are still too good.

But another attempt at a perfect season? Very very unlikely.

i think they should try and deal for Patrick Willis or another proven young LB, and maybe look at chad if they are too loose stallworth

There is no way they'll go undefeated next year. But they could definitely win a Super Bowl.

nope, cowboys are goin for it next yr

as long as cocky romo focuses on his damn job and not pulling chicks. save that when you retire

As long as they resign randy and Asante i don't see why they can't win another championship. the team went 18-1 and were dominating most teams so ifthey drop a few notches that still puts them as a top 3 team in the league. Need i remind ya'll that Bellicheck is gonna be even more determined to provedoubters wrong next season.

why do I have a feeling that they're gonna trade up and get DMAC. from Arkansas. Im scared.
