Paypal Invoice Question

I'm trying to buy these J's from dude and he sends me the invoice and in the email message it says Note from merchant with the proper shoe details. When I click the pay now it sends me to the actual invoice and the description only says "Goods." This is a huge red flag correct? Sorry for my ignorance, this is my first time doing a paypal invoice.

When you send the seller payment can't you still include a note saying what the item is?
