I recently downloaded iTunes on my new laptop, which runs Windows XP. I also
successfully copied all of my music from my old laptop onto the new one. The
only problem is that as soon as I installed and then opened my iTunes, I got
an error stating that "iTunes has detected a problem with your audio
configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly." When I open
my Audio Devices in the Control Panel, it actually states that there is no
Audio Device, no audio/video playback device, and it won't even allow me to
adjust the speaker volume. (It's grayed out.)

What do I do? Can someone please help me?

Someone will probably explain it better than me but you would have to probably install the Audio update for Windows

what laptop do you have? if its a dell you can easily go to dell.com and download all the drivers you need, or just go to the website of the developers.
