PC Heads - Virus Help

Ok so i'm pretty sure I have a virus. I tried to download malwarebytes-antimalware and it closes after click quick scan. I then downloaded hijack this andit also closes on it's own. It wont let me reopen them and I get a message saying windows cannot access the specific device. Any ideas?

you try booting in safe mode and scan it then?

When u boot up hit either f11 or f8 repeatedly then try to restore your computer to the last known good configuration.

Well it won't let me reboot in either safe mode or last known good configuration. I did let me reboot to last good configuration once but it won'tanymore. I also can't go to any antivirus websites because it redirects me somewhere else. It let me open the programs once but then they closed on me.After I tried to reopen them, it wont let me.

Try Start>assessories>system tools>system restore?

If not, I say just do a clean re-install of everything.

Damn you caught a pretty nasty piece of malware.

One thing that might work is downloading hiden boot disc. You can search for it on google. Its a boot cd with a bunch of useful tools which also has a lightweight version of windows XP that you can boot into. The bootable Windows XP includes a couple antivirus scans that you can run.

do you still have your restore cd's that came with the computer? if so insert those and let them do work
