I'm trying to restore a Dell Mini with the cd that came with it. I'm using a external cd drive and under boot options I chose boot from CD. When I getto the section where I need to choose what partition to install it on, I can't install it on one because it is too full so when I try to delete it, itwon't let me because "the partition contains temporary setup files that are required to complete the installation". And just in case you'rewondering, it has an 8gb SSD...Any suggestions?

Find a program that will setup the partition for you. I feel like kasperky has one but I think IM wrong.

^^ that or you can borrow a version of windows that you have on that, preferably one that is the same and use your key that is on the comp to activate... contact dell, or use programs like erd commander and mini pe to get in the comp and edit/delete files accordingly...

you can also buy a flash drive load a os to the flash drive and boot from there
