People telling you to sit down at a sporting event

true story and its something i would never do now, just becuase i'm older and more mature and everything but i went to a clippers celtics game with my boyback during the 2002-03 season. he's a huge celtics fan but he gets a pass because he's one of the true friends that i have. everything is peaches andcream peanut butter and jelly until the 4th quarter when this middle aged white dude started running his mouth about my boy cheering loudly. the guy had boughtsome panda express and the whole row we were sitting in reeked of beef and broccli. after the guy tapped my boy in a rather rude way i intervened and told himthat my boy would stop cheering loudly if you threw that stinky panda express away. the guy ended up getting in my face so i spit in his face with a fury thatwould have made roberto alomar proud. i was expecting him to swing at me but instead i saw him get up and leave his seat, i figured he was going to tellsecurity or call police like a vagina would do, so me any my boy ended up moving to another section for the rest of the game.

that being said, if i pay my hard earned money for my ticket, im going to do whatever i please and if you have a problem with it, your more then welcome toleave. however i'm always respectful to familys with kids and i never od on acting belligerent or dumb but if your going to tell me to sit down because imcheering for my team, im just going to look at you like your stupid.

My thing is... be respectful. It's common knowledge when it's okay and not okay when to stand.

Either:

A) cool it with the unnecessary standing, and we can both enjoy the game

or

B) I can enjoy the game as well as enjoy you being escorted out

WWE events are the worst for this. It seems that I always have some ugly girl sitting in front of me wanting to %+%#* herself out to get on tv by holding up asign during a match. I hate signs, and think people that make them are idiots. If she made one for her favorite star and held it up when just that person cameout, it wouldnt bother me. Unfortunatley, they ususaly hold it up all the time, despite me yelling "put the f'n sign down" I start with just"put the sign down" but afer that doesnt work, the almighty Fbomb comes out. The last show I went to (backlash) was the worst, as some upper 20sishgirl kept holding up a sign that said "hi you". Dumb broad.

Let someone try this at a college basketball game in the student section. Lucky if you don't get a beer thrown at you.

If I'm at a Miami game I'm standing up 90% of the time. I don't care who is behind me, they can go eat one. All other sporting events...i prettyfollow the rules. Standup for big plays/moments and sit the rest of the time.

Very true... I avoid going through the threshold...

I know, what's wrong with that foo'. You payed good money for that ticket so you must have the right to stand or sit

Don't ever go to a Michigan football game. Those old farts are the worst fans in the world. They will get security to bounce you if you stand and cheer. Nowonder wack team come into our place and beat us.

I absolutely HATE when fake @++ fans are tellin me to sit down or not be so loud.

I hate it with a passion, especially at Staples where fans are so damn laid back and nonchalant.

I love being loud and supporting my team and I will never stop

Do what you want, but don't be an #%@.. Its a sporting event, i'm a FAN, I provide the atmosphere for the TEAM. If I wanna stand and cheer em on thenso be it

cosign, i hate the sacramento kings but i would love to have the loyal roudy fans they had/have in arco. well they don't show up like they used to butit's none of that fairweather crap, but i guess thats what happens when the team sucks.

if i pay for my ticket i cheer for my team how i wanna cheer for them. the worst at staples would be when i've sneaked down to the lower seats at the endof a quarter and i know i gotta kinda keep the emotion and cheering to a minimum because i know ill react in a way i shouldn't if a fan snitches tosecurity because im cheering and i'm forced to go back up to my original seats.

i hate when people do that. you did the right thing by putting him in his place.

also he had no right in initiating physical contact with you.

Just because you paid for a ticket doesn't give you permission to act like an obnoxious moron. Guess what, the people behind you paid for a ticket too. It's just a game. Why do you need to stand anyways? And why do you need to yell the entire game (or at all?) - it's not like the players hear you, you're only annoying those around you. I swear half the games I go to I'm sitting next to ******s like this, who act like it's the 1st gamethey've ever been to and never received any home training. I will tell security a-sap if some trash tries to ruin my viewing experience. Acting like aselfish buffoon is nothing to be proud of. Grow up.

A lot of times when I sit in the upper bowl everyone around me will be standing during the game. But when I sit in the 100s everyone just sits.

Its funny to me how one dude in the front of the section stands and then the people behind him can't see so they stand up one by one

then stay your !%# at home or go to a library. it seems like sporting events are the last place you should be at. home court advantage don't exist in yourbook i guess.

you seem like the type of dude that when the playoffs come around and they give out those inflatable things your supposed to wave when the opposing team shootsfreethrows that you would just sit in your seat hunched over while everyones waving the inflatable things trying to get the opposing teams player to miss.

has happened to me a couple times at qualcomm stadium. only football stadium i have ever been to where people get mad if you stand.

You're lame doggie. What's the point of going to the game then? Just stay home and watch it on TV and let the people who want to cheer andmake noise enjoy the atmosphere. You're just a boring person, that's why females don't want you, word to all your simpin !@! general threads.
