I think it's just a glorified cashier position in a pharmacy considering you don't need to be cert.Good way to get a foot in but I would take the PCTB exam & get licensed in your state for more actual pharmacy work/experience, that's what I'm doing....

One of my boys is a Pharmacy aide and consider it like a cashier who wants to break into the Pharmacy field, at this point, it's just a job. He's learning about the field and making about 12/hr in California. He is getting his papers in order to be a Pharm Tech at a local hospital. Then he'll probably be going to get his Pharm D. pretty soon afterward and start making that money. Good luck OP.
