Pharmacy Aide

Anyone have experience with this job?
How's the workload? and the pay?

I think it's just a glorified cashier position in a pharmacy considering you don't need to be cert.Good way to get a foot in but I would take the PCTB exam & get licensed in your state for more actual pharmacy work/experience, that's what I'm doing....

I heard they get paid little more than cashiers, like 10 or 11 bucks an hour.

I just need a job right now, tired of being broke.

my homeboy, who is also an NTer does alot of Pharmacy aide for his father's pharmacy. he definately knows a lot about that kinda stuff

Havent heard of pharmacy aide but go for it, if you catch on quick then you can step up to pharmacy tech.

One of my boys is a Pharmacy aide and consider it like a cashier who wants to break into the Pharmacy field, at this point, it's just a job. He's learning about the field and making about 12/hr in California. He is getting his papers in order to be a Pharm Tech at a local hospital. Then he'll probably be going to get his Pharm D. pretty soon afterward and start making that money. Good luck OP.

Yeah I've been thinking of trying to become a pharmacist, I know they make bank.
