Just heard it on AM 570. Ridiculous on so many levels. That's chump change to phil though

Jackson complained that the referees had let the game get out of hand; the Nuggets shot 49 free throws compared with theLakers' 35. "We want the game to be fair and evenly played," Jackson said.

Jackson also complained about Denver guard Dahntay Jones' tripping Kobe Bryant: "Just unacceptable defense, trippingguys and playing unsportsmanlike basketball," Jackson said on Monday.

Hopefully we get some more calls @ Staples in Game 5.

From what he said, it didn't sound too bad. I don't think that warranted a $25k fine.

Denver only had 7 more trips to the line. Is that really that unfair? And Dude didn't trip Kobe on purpose. Phil is a great coach and probably my favoriteof all-time but he shouldn't be crying about this. It makes him look weak. What a waste of 25k.

He can afford it, but still. It looks wrong when the league fines a player or coach for speaking out against things that are sometimes clear injustices

Did you even watch the game? Even Nuggets fans were saying that was intentional. It should have been a regular foul though.

its funny how he gets fined for what the refs did wrong...then they give jones a flagrant and take back the bynum flagrant...the refs have becomea complete joke

that's exactly what phil is complaining about. the inconsistency on what a foul is!
