Pinched nerve

Random question:

Anybody ever dealt with a pinched nerve before? I've had this thing for like three weeks now (lower back area) and tried rest, ice and heat and, while the pain has gone down, it's still not all the way gone.

Anyone deal with this before?

3 weeks seems to damn long IMO. If meds don't help I think its time to consult a doctor.

Had this happen to me twice on my lower left side of my back and once on my right.

I literally cried everytime i tried to walk, sit down, or do anything.

All three times, I tried everything from IcyHot, muscle relaxers, vicodin, but the only thing that works is just resting and staying in bed.

It usually lasts around one week, and just goes away.

Don't waste your time going to the doctor

It was easily a month when I had a pinched nerve from foot surgery.
I still have no feeling in that area and it's been 4 months now.

Talk to a doctor if it gets worse, but if it is slowly going away then it will just take awhile.
