Cops are hunting an armed band of pint-size punks
What the four junior thugs lacked in height - the tallest among them measured 5-feet-5 and two had yet to top 4-feet-8 - they made up for with weaponry: one was armed with a gun, another a knife.
The youths targeted the man, who was strolling in the park in the vicinity of E. 96th St. about 7:50p.m. on Saturday, cops said.
The four, described by police as skinny and in their early teens, barked out demands that the victim fork over his property - and flashed their hardware to prove it was no bluff.
The victim quickly gave up his cell phone and some dough, police said.
But a security camera captured clear images of the minirobbers walking through the park.
Cops are hoping someone recognizes the twerps and makes an anonymous call to the NYPD's Crime Stoppers tipline at (800) 577-TIPS.
