Asante was a smart CB, but dude gave SO MUCH space between him and the guy he was covering. He did not believe in press coverage at all, and his tackling was pretty bad.

Yea that was kinda his thing, he read routes and QB's eyes a lot which allowed him to diagnose plays easily and quickly. Only CB we've had recently who I can remember was a solid tackler was Sheldon brown. Not many good tackling CBs historically though.

Marcus mariota is overrated to me, looks like a system QB. I'll go on the record Jameis Winston will have a better pro career then Mariota. However if Mariota starts to slip come draft time I'd be interested as he would fit Chips system perfectly.
