After he said what he said, I imagine that teams will begin lowballing him and he'll latch onto a halfway decent team. If he's coming to Oakland without other offers, I'd say that's a bad outlook for what his performance for next season will look like.

Would Reggie give him a chance under those circumstances? Hell, I have trouble thinking I would, given that this is supposed to be a rebuilding effort. I think it would ultimately clash with Reggie's philosophy and he will (if he hasn't already) say thanks, but no thanks.

Amy Trask resigned, I guess she was helping with the transition to new management and once she felt her work was done she was going to leave.
