That first fight between Bute and Andrade was crazy.

Ref saved that man from taking an L. Never seen anything so blatant by a ref before that fight.

That was sickening. I felt like the ref had money on that fight. Too busy yelling at Andrade to stay in his corner rather than start the count.

I rarely ever complain about the sport of boxing, because I have just come to accept that things are the way they are. This whole catch weight stuff is a bit absurd. Why is Broner vs Porter at a 44? What does this fight do for either? Why is Cotto the champ of a weight class that we will not even fight in? But I guess since I'm going  to watch anyway it really is a dead issue.

I hear you. Every big fight has some sort of weight issue nowadays it seems like (exclude Pac and May). By issues I mean it is a huge part of the negotiations where catch weight is involved. I feel we are in an era where smaller guys have been fighting better in higher weight classes. In order to offset some of the size advantage they been doing this stuff. Does it make sense that a 160 pound champ may not ever fight at 160 I don't think so but it is what it is I guess. If this is what it takes for better matchups im for it.

Garcia fighting August 1st on the PBC on ESPN is set I think.  Officially the opponent is TBD, but it's rumored it's going to be Paulie.

I hear ya man, cotto is my guy and ive always supported him but its getting hard to nowadays. Dude really acts like a diva, always bringing up when pac drained him as an excuse, like bro that was one time. he even went as far as saying that every opponent from now on will be at a catch weight. Smh man cotto had a good career but its hard for me to support his diva demands.

Where did you find out about this? Last I heard about Malignaggi is that he was supposed to fight a tuneup and that got cancelled because he got a bad cut in training.

I saw some threads about it yesterday on some other forums.  Said it was a rumor circulating on twitter. 

I checked twitter like 30 mins ago to try to find the source and all I could find was some random guy who tweeted Steve Kim that Paulie told him at the Brook fight that a fight with Garcia and him was a done deal. 

After seeing that it doesn't seem all that legit now

I think Floyd more so than Broner would never take that fight he really would crush that kid career and have him on suicide watch Broner can say what he wants but that lame aint turning down that payday if it ever was presented to him..
