PLURIBUS Series Thread By Vince Gilligan | Apple TV

which question are you referring to?

the question about her favorite food which leads to her explaining the mango ice cream and why she liked it. it seems like she was dozing off from the hive then snaps back into hive mode.

Zosia/the hive mind can’t accept a love story with a different/human individual… basically Zosia is cheating on Carol for the cause… so Carol is done

I've tried to convince myself on this show and it just doesn't work for me. Season 2 had better pick up, but knowing filming schedules, we're looking at late 2027. Vince Gilligan can talk all he wants about being the anti-Tik Tok guy, but things HAVE to move along. That season finale felt like a mid-season episode of any other show.

The finale was solid. Nice setup for season 2. I’m all in.

Love that you could really feel Carol’s internal struggle of having let Zosia go after it was revealed that they plan to turn her after extracting the stem cells from her eggs. Very well done.

I'm personally fine with the pacing.

But what a first meeting!
Both are pretty damn rude. 😅

I get why Manu is so paranoid, but Carol is clearly whipped!
And I can totally see why Carol has become like that. Being in iso for that long... then finally finding the companionship. And this never would have worked had they used Helen's body cuz she would have obvs been a different person. Meeting Zosia was meeting someone completely new. But now, we really know just how manipulative the Hive has been. All a part of their end game.

8.613 kHz ~ Surely they're gonna dive deeper into that next season, but I wonder how Manu figured it all out. What's his background???
All this chatter online about the use of a Faraday Cage and now I really wanna know how that will play into it! Shame we gotta wait, like, 2-3 years! 😪

Zosia put it on Carrol something vicious. Had her thinking she was just going to get to enjoy all of the joys of the world and not have to pay in some way at the end. :lol :|
Diabolical

Manousos is the man. He lowkey is cracking the code.

Carol thinking they can coexist when it’s a race to become the dominant species. It’s also laughable that they’re both unlikable.

I wish they would have explained what happened at the beginning. Moreso the why.

I tried to remain patient and not be too tough on Carol since this is a singular experience she’s going through (literally), but ma did that finale have me frustrated. After all that you gonna just be enamored by box. Deadass?

Glad she got her wake up call. Cant trust these weirdos.

Team Manousos all day.

Also are we sure that was just tea Carol was drinking in the montage? Looked like that HDP to me.:nerd:

I hope they do and I think they will. We absolutely need a Mano backstory... how it started for him... why he's the way he is... and how he's able to figure out the science behind it.

Carol's actions... while I don't agree with... was understandable, IMO.
Obvs written as a flawed and unlikeable character, but I imagine perfect, likeable characters (even heroes) can get boring. 🤷‍♂️

Merry Christmas!
Great finale
My guy Manu doing the lord's work out here.
If only he met Carol right when the joining happened
Show would be 1 season though

Will probably switch to binging next season.
I can't do the slow stuff with Vince in the first few seasons
BB I came in when it was on it's 3rd season so i binged.
With BCS it was on it's 2nd season.
What's funny is that I only rewatch those shows from those seasons

Fun fact: I watched the show in french.
I get the show from a shared plex server and for some reason
The owner uploaded it in French, technically watched it 3 languages this week

I think we discover Manousos is unlikable too. I CAN appreciate his honor, determination and aversion to corruption whereas there is a tinge of Karen in the depiction of Carol. But she’s meant to be an imperfect protagonist.

I forgot the Native woman who got converted at the beginning had desired to join the collective.

The Prestige discussed how all of the performative and culture was lost the moment she was converted. The village ostensibly ceased to exist.

Creativity seems to be a missing byproduct of the collective.

I’m looking forward to season two. But I can understand those who feel like the pace is slower than desired.

the others been moving real sleazy...saying they loved Carol but doing that shhh without any consent! Zosia cool but damnit that was a b move man

I thought the ending was solid and was totally wrong with my prediction of someone being murdered lol (Zosia was probably murdering Carol's guts to make her defend them and go on a world tour, but I digress lol)

That radio signal should play a big role in S2. But Manu knows what's up.

Its deeper than just box though

Zosia is the "Perfect Partner" she is 100% compatible with Carol since she's literally everyone lol

they never argue, zosia knows what she likes, doesn't like, never over steps, has all of Helens past knowledge of carol etc. she's 100% COMPATIBLE.

Its almost impossible NOT TO fall in love with them....that's why the fact that SHE DID SNAP OUT OF IT it shows her resilience and level-headedness that the others DO NOT HAVE (yet?)

the other 12 are currently DEEP into seduction and probably on their way to the joining....
