“Now that I’m OK, I’m not so much mad, but when I was on the ground and in the back of the ambulance, I was kind of angry at him,” Grimm said.
"Andy does not want him to get fired," Grimm said, calling the shooting a misunderstanding.

SMH he shol is nicer than me

For starters, police chiefs should be elected officials. Not appointed by mayors of major cities.

Secondly, a cop needs to be convicted of 2nd degree MURDER, because thats exactly what a majority of these cases fall under.

Third, we need a lot fewer cops in general. Higher standard, higher pay. I would rather pay a great cop 6 figures instead of 2 ****** ones 50k a piece. Automation needs to hit law enforcement hard.

Not really brutality, but still scumbag @#$@ regardless. Cop gives a vendor a citation (unnecessary but understandable) but then proceeds to rob him as well.

A video showing a UC Berkeley bicycle officer citing a bacon hot dog vendor on campus and removing cash from his wallet for operating without a permit has gone viral.

In the video, taken by alumnus Martin Flores on Saturday afternoon, a UCPD officer is seen pulling cash out of the vendor’s wallet and folding it into his hand.
Flores repeatedly says, “That’s not right,” and asks the officer why he’s taking the vendor’s “hard-earned money.” Flores claims that people were drinking in public not that far away, and that officers should have targeted them instead.

“Yeah, well he doesn’t have a permit. He doesn’t have a permit,” the officer responds. “Yep, this is law and order in action ... Thank you for your support.”

University officials said Monday that the officer took $60 from the vendor. Three others outside the game were given warnings but not cited, officials said.

PITTSBURGH - A police officer is now on desk duty as the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is reviewing police officers’ use of force during an arrest Tuesday night outside PPG Paints Arena after cellphone video came to light.

In a statement Wednesday, Mayor Bill Peduto said, "Officer Andrew Jacobs has been placed on desk duty pending the outcome of the reviews. Our police officers are trained to de-escalate situations. This is part of the protocol of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. We have zero tolerance for deviation to that standard."

Police said the incident started shortly after 10:30 p.m. when officers spotted a warrant suspect, 34-year-old David Jones, near the intersection of Lemieux Place and Centre Avenue. Jones was wanted out of Cranberry Township on forgery charges and previously fled from a Pittsburgh officer who tried to serve a warrant.

According to the criminal complaint, when officers approached Jones, "Jones looked at me and stated, 'You're the officer I ran from before, aren't you?' Jones then attempted bull rush."
