The campaign chapter is, eh, whatever.. But the 7 multiplayer maps are great. In fact, "Nowhere" is the coolest multiplayer map of all IMO, at leastit's my favorite. Too bad that it will take forever to have this maps circling around in map voting in multiplayer.

its not pretty when Im host. I get silly. But if this game lost the host advantage, chainsaw, and planted nades it can easily be ONE of the best shootinggames.

gave up on GOW2 multiplayer after a month... was so disappointed b/c i loved the first one, but just wanted them to fix the netcode (lag) problems.
They actually found a way to make it worse in that area, and added stun grenades to everyone's arsenal which made the game completely ******ed fornon-campers.
That being said - campaign mode was still fun as hell, played through it probably 3 times.. i would definitely play a 3rd game, but until they do somethingabout the lag issues and matchmaking system it's just never going to be playable online to anybody who wants to take it seriously.
The fact that they've just ignored this and denied that the problems are as rampant as they truly are - just makes me almost want to never buy anotherproduct from Epic again.
Shame, too.. b/c they have a great core gameplay system that shouldn't have to suffer like this, getting no treatment in the way ti deserves.
GOW1 was crack for the most part... especially LAN. GOW2 had so much potential... but just never lived up to it.

They fixed the lag for the most part, but the shotgun isnt what it use to be in gow1. and the smokes do ruin the game.

gears of war 1 is where its at....played gears 2 online and gave it up since all people do is glitch, use the lancer, put grenades in spawn points andchainsaw. gets irritating after a while. only thing i find annoying in gears 1 are the bums who active down with the sniper rifle

The Longshot Sniper Rifle in GoW would get you DBNO if you were actived once. If you don't know what I'm saying, in basic terms, 1 shot from the sniperwith a perfect active reload in GoW would bring you down to your knees.

This game had so much potential but epic messed it up bad on the multiplayer part
It's amazing how whenever I try to play a game by myself I always geta bunch of lames on my team that are trying to hide behind corners to chainsaw or camping near frag nades
After a while I just got bored of it and only started playing when me andmy boys had atleast 3+ of us then they promised to fix most of the lag which for a week the game was pretty smooth but then it went back to being +!*@ andalways getting matched up against people from mexico that were probably on some dial-up or using some 48 hour AOL trial
Havn't touched my 360 in like a month now too I'll probably get madden before school starts then wait for COD4 2
