i'd go no smaller than a 275 on a 10 inch wide rim. Especially on a Supra, need that meaty look not stretch. If that doesn't solve the problem go add a degree or 2 of camber. unless its rubbing on the inside of the wheel well, in which case you may need a small spacer.
Quick question for the wheel and tire experts in here. The Supra that I just purchased was having rubbing at high speeds over bumps in the front. At the time I had an Eibach pro-kit with KYB shocks. Last week I was able to change out the suspension and had full coilovers installed with the KW variant 3 kit. I was hoping that the coilovers might help the rubbing in the front, but the rubbing is still there (probably a tad worse since its sitting a little lower in front). My current wheel and tire setup is CCW Classics 18x10 in front and 17x11.5 for the rear (offsets are unknown). The current tires are 285/30/18 Bridgestone Potenza's in front and 315/35/17 Nitto NT-05's in back. My next step to help the rubbing is going to be to change out the front tire size. I was hoping to go to Nitto NT-05 in 265/35/18 instead of the current 285/30/18. Do you guys think this will help? Would I have too much tire stretch with this setup? I've emailed CCW as well, but wanted to see if you guys might have any input. Another option may be to roll the front fenders but I am hoping to avoid that.

Are you rubbing on the fender liner? If so just remove it. 265 on a 10 isn't really stretched at all, Im running a 245 on a 9.5, if you went with something with a firmer sidewall like MPSS it wouldn't stretch any. In my opinion Supras look best with some rake just like Ms so try to fix it without raising the front.

Do you ever rub? I know you would if anyone ever rode in the back. I need to get around to gutting my back seats.
Just spent 3 hours claying and hand waxing my car. Def going to buy a DA polisher, it's hard work, but stress relieving. With that said anyone do their own polishing I was going to cop porter cable and the Meguiar's 105 and 205.

I HAVE A PORTER CABLE 7424XP AND CHEMICAL GUYS V36 AND V38 COMING IN WITH ORANGE, WHITE, AND BLACK PADS. THE PAINT ON THE CAR IS NEW SO NO NEED TO GET CRAZY. JUST ENHANCE THEN MAINTAIN. I FEEL FOR YOU, NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PROCESS. I REMEMBER REALLY CARING ABOUT MY PAINT BACK WHEN I HAD MY GT BEFORE THE MACH AND ALL THE STEPS AND TIME IT TOOK. THE CAR WILL BE DOWN FOR LIKE 3-4 DAYS AS I DO THE WHOLE PROCESS BUT I HAVE THE MOTORCYCLE TO HOLD ME OVER UNTIL ITS COMPLETE.

Do you do a panel at a time? I plan on doing a section at a time so I'll take my time on it.
Nelson, your stance and tire/ wheel combo looks pretty much perfect on the M. Very aggressive looking but functional. I contacted the guys at CCW and they suggested I try the 265/35/18, so I ordered 2 Nitto 05's in that configuration. It won't quite be as aggressive but I am hoping it will help a bit with the rubbing which is becoming super annoying at this point. M BOIZ, thank you bro for the link and advice! Very helpful to have pictures to go along with all the different wheel and tire combos. I ordered the 265/35/18 tires for the front so will report back next week if this solved the issue.Are you rubbing on the fender liner? yall thought I was serious. I was looking at c6 z06 prices and came up on that. Says "1200hp twin turbo" on the back and on the coil covers. Had trouble seeing the turbos in the pics tho lol... I just don't get why people do **** like that...spending all that money smh.
