\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Well my mom finally got a car. She didn’t end up with the LX that we looked at last weekend but she got a 2019 GX in nightfall mica. 80k miles and thing was super clean. She’s kept her 05 Land Cruiser for over 20 years so I’m expecting her to keep this one around the same amount of time. Land Cruiser is going to a family member that’s been wanting it for years.

These GX's are nice. Should last you a long time as long as you keep up the maintenance

Just did the oil on my Mustang last week. Had it done in literally 10 minutes (and yes the oil was still HOT). And actually, I've done the oil on my car ever since I bought it. Dealership never touched it except for one coolant flush in near 70k miles.

I feel like we've discussed this before but if you have space for it, faster and cheaper just changing it yourself

Also peace of mind knowing it was done right. Dealers are a racket + you're still susceptible to the techs screwing up

Though it's a lot less likely than one of those quick lube spots messing up

We may have. I'm lucky as my dad built himself a 50'x100' pole barn back in the late 80s/or early 90s to work on stuff when he wasn't at the garage he worked at. With that is a 2-post above ground lift. So I get to use it whenever I need it. Only downside is they live 60 minutes away (due to traffic) and he is 87 years old (but with more energy than me, since having a pacemaker put in 10 years ago). But I've also changed my oil in my driveway with a jack and oil collection tub. I honestly love working on my car. Can't wait to also add a new head unit to get Android Auto.

And when I worked at the dealership, I knew which techs were good and who weren't. 👍

Lift access really is key. Would've made my life a lot easier

A building/garage that can fit multiple vehicles with a lift is the dream

But I'd settle for a lift in a single stall. The ceilings in my garage are too low for it

If you don't mind older cars you should look into the first gen Z4 M...Those used the E46 M3 engine and were an amazing analog driving experience. Personally I like the Z3M more in terms of looks, but the 1st gen Z4M is a great buy right now and surely will appreciate over time. Personally I don't like BMWs with turbos...no one does NA straight six like BMW, **** is addicting.

Man the first gen’s do look good , this gen though got me with the turbocharger . I saw one at leguna seca last year in that 90’s green with a manual and it looked great

I always liked the Z8 for more classic styling - and still with a big V8 making 400bhp. They're pretty old now though.

z8 are expensive af compared to the 3 and 4 haha. fire though, one of the most beautiful cars of all time...with the hardtop they are perfection.

Tail lights are one off LEDs before their time. Break one in today's age, $1000 a piece. IF... you can find them. Automotive perfection, though.

Smh all I can do is hope and pray when my time comes their a few left that are obtainable

There are only a few obtainable now. And THEN. I mean, you are already looking at a unicorn when they were made. Just shoot for a V12. Better yet, grab a 500 and just rock it. With the crazier engines come the crazier problems.

So, I went to a really unique show on Saturday, held at a small airport in upper bucks county. Lots of unique vehicles & lots of vintage small planes flying in. While there, I checked the map to see how far Lebanon, NJ was from Erwinna, Pa (where I was at), as there was a very very unique car show in the park in Lebanon. A national TVR meet, where I got to FINALLY see, in person, a Cerbera (V8 2+2), a Sagaris (bat**** crazy) and the one car I want to import more than ANYTHING that is available....A 2000 Tuscan!

For those who don't know and didn't see my post before (a few weeks back) it's the car that was in Swordfish with Travolta, Jackman and Holly Berry (though, most remember the movie for a different reason 😍). It is the definitive car that wants to kill you as there is ZERO ABS, ZERO Traction Control, ZERO aids to help the driver. Add with that a 3.6L to 4.0L inline 6 with ITBs, that TVR made themselves, putting out anywhere from 325 to 400hp depending on tune and displacement (and if it has a Red Rose Package). All this in a car that weights about 2,600 lbs and is only a foot longer in size to a freaking Miata! 🤯

Yeah, these can sell for low £20k to upper £30k British Pound. Do the conversion for a car around £26,000 and your talking about $34,600 give or take. Add import fees, duties and the new ******* tariffs set by some *******, your gonna be in one for around $45k or so. Insane value for the car you get. And only about 6-9 in the country right now (they made 1677).

So yeah, I want one because it's different, because it's crazy, because it looks like NOTHING on the road or at any Cars & Coffee. And if everything goes to plan, I can have the cash to start SERIOUSLY shopping soon. Here are some pics of the car I want and I'll put the other cars in a following post. 👍

The silver car is a Cerbera and the orange car is the Sagaris. Crazy enough, it's THE car Clarkson drove on Top Gear.

The Cerbera doesn't have a key. You keep it secure with the immobilizer and use the sequence to allow it to start by pressing the black button on the bottom right part of the steering wheel, once to turn on the car and a 2nd time to actually start it. The red kills the engine. And yes, that is an A/C vent ON THE STEERING WHEEL! 😂

The Sagaris is very rare. Only 211 built so seeing one is an event. Would love one of these but they are too expensive for what they are (routinely in the £70k-£90k range British Pound, so well over $100k. And they can't come in legally until 2030 (this is from Canada and they only have to wait 15 years to import (lucky). But seeing these, and sitting in the Tuscan and starting it, hearing that straight 6 (what a sound) and talking to the owner who said he can easily help me get one in here, MADE.MY.DAY! 👍

Hope you all like the pics.
