Posting for later...? Why?

What is the point of people coming into a post and posting "posting for later"? I'm very confused as to the point of doing this.

You can go up to your navigation panel and see any of the threads you've posted in. Like a bookmark.

Most of the time, people post some really interesting videos full of knowledge, but they're 10+ minutes.
If you don't have the time to sit and watch it at that moment and comment afterwards, you post for later.
Then you can head to your recent posts and go back to the thread instead of using the God awful search or scanning through pages.

sometimes when viewing from a mobile device you can't view videos or reply like you want to so you post for later just in case it isn't a popular topiconce you get to your computer

MY POINT OF DOING THIS IS,

I cant view the pictures in that specific thread because Im at work.. VIEWING INAPPROPRIATE PICS AT WORK AND SOMEONE WALKING BY = TROUBLE.. So I type in"POSTING FOR LATER" so I can view at home..
