The roads in Hawaii are pretty beat on some streets as well. Not in any of the tourist hot spots though.

Over here, we can complain to the city and they will cover the damages if you file a thorough complaint and show pictures. Not too long of a process but wellworth it.

Y'all ain't got nothin' on what happened to one of my wheels when I hit a pothole on new year's day in San Diego.

The damage happened on a street with no place for me to pull over, so I had to drive with the cracked wheel for like another hundred yards to the nextintersection. Probably having to drive a little further 'cause the crack to look as bad as it looks.






I filed my claim with the city already, but they take FOREVER so I went ahead and finally ordered and received a replacement set earlier this week. Justwaiting on my new tires to come in so I can get em mounted already.

The pothole was like 8 inches wide, 14-18 inches long, and about 4 inches deep. It was late at night and the road was pretty dark. By the time I saw thepothole, it was too late to avoid it.

I was heated as hell... I had to leave my car by Rockaway and I drive a Civic... I was nervous as hell

I had to leave the car till the nextday... Then trying to fix it I +$!%++ up the rim more and the tire had like a tumor when I filled the tire back up with air
