imo its something you grow into. I hated all salad growing up unless it was a regular salad wuth lettuce. Egg Salad is whats nasty.

Yeah, I'm with you.

I remember one of my first days at high school - I went for lunch in the cafeteria and I guess it was the first time I'd seen potato salad - just not something we ate. I thought "hmm, that sounds interesting I'll have that" - and it was terrible.

Maybe it was just the cafeteria food but I've never enjoyed it since.

That german one looks tasty though - but more like a hot breakfast thing.
