How about the "silent gesture" of NOT buying the shoe itself? Speak with your wallets people.
Nike's got to do the right thing and at the very least with regards to this shoe & it's supposed affiliation/inspiration donate some money onbehalf of Tommie Smith & John Carlos besides the money they donate to other causes.
When the shoe hits the outlets is when the people will come out if at all to grab a pair. We are not all stupid to think Nike still does not turn a profit onoutlet releases, which is truly scary.
Personally I just think the colours suck hard, despite all the higher thinking about how badly Nike has shot themselves in the foot with the subtle marketingon this end from this site, purposely or otherwise.
