Powerbeats question??

I just got the Powerbeats and was wondering if anyone has trouble with the volume

control?? I was thinking maybe the default wire was too short? I think that's what was

causing it to not work.. Will the extension

cable be to long to use when going to the gym?? someone PM me Any info can help
