A Pringles recall has been recommended by the Food and Drug Administration.

A new Pringles recall affects two Pringles flavors: Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger and Family Faves Taco Night.


The FDA believes these products may have been contaminated by salmonella. If the products contain a "Best by" 2011 stamp, they may be at risk.

The Pringles recall is related to other recent recalls involving salmonella, which involve Basic Food Flavors, Inc. An onion soup recall took place last week.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled products should discardthe product and call Procter & Gamble at 1-877-876-7881 for areplacement coupon or refund.

The FDA has identified 94 products in all that use HVP seasoning from Basic Food Flavors and more recalls could be on the way.
 
What the hell flavors is that?

I thought all they had was like original, sour cream & onion and cheddar????
 
They have so many flavors now. Dill pickle and guacamole is on point
 
You're missing out then - the rib flavors are pretty good.

I like the sound of the cheeseburger one too - but I'd like to skip the salmonella if that's okay.
 
hope doritos' late night cheeseburger flavor isn't on the list, cause i have been DOWNING those bad boys like none other.

I was just on the website but did not see any of these types of flavors...ribs? 

I saw the dill pickle flavor under extreme but none of these others you are mentioning.
 
anybody try just calling that number for a free coupon?

taco night is good. we have like half a can left. and i'm still going to eat them, haven't gotten sick yet so it's fine
 
When I was in Greece this past summer, the selection of Lay's there > US, hands down.

Miss me some oregano chips.

Glad Cheddar Pringles aren't a part of the recall.
