PS3 and HDTV help!

I just hooked up my PS3 to the TV with a HDMI cable. Turned the PS3 off and now none of the cable channels show up...they are all "snow" or say"Digital channel signal strength is low". Checked all the cables they are ok.

Anyone know what's up?

your ps3 and your cable box should be on different inputs for example I have my cable box hooked up to HDMI input 1 and my ps3 on HDMI input 2, and I switchback and forth between the 2 with my remote

I don't have HD cable going to this TV...just the reg. Comcast cable. So there's only one HDMI cable going into the TV and that's from the PS3. Ican't see how the PS3 would mess up my regular cable?

On the initial setup of the PS3 it asks me "An available HDMI device was detected. Do you want to output video and audio using HDMI" IT gives me 2options ...yes and no. I tried both and nothing. I even put all the settings back to stock and got nothing.

Before the PS3 was hooked up all the channels worked on "TV" input. Hooked up the PS3...one HDMI cable going from the PS3 to the TV and one powercable from the PS3 to the outlet. PS3 works on input "HDMI 1". Go back to input "TV" and I get no channels except for channel 3.

TV is a RCA L32HD32D.

So you have a cable box or not?

Did you do a scan for channels under the menu?

Yeah just a comcast digital cable box. The little one.. model # DC50X

kinda happens to me sometimes.. its weird and annoying.. i usually just unhook the cable box and plug in the ps3 and vice versa.. takes a lot of time andeffort but at least i get to play and watch tv in good quality
