just got a PS3 and i own a 32 inch sony bravia. for those who know about HDMI cables, will getting a cable improve the graphics on the game? thanks

Whatever you do, STAY away from Monster Cables. If you spend more than $15 on a HDMI cable then you're an idiot. Almost all the HDMI cables are the same.

Yes, HDMI cables makes the games show a lot better, real crisp and clear. I bought my HDMI cable from Frys for $7.99

I know you seriously didn't just ask this question

I always hear ppl say that but they claim that banding is not a problem on the wires
I notice a bit of banding on my tv when playing certain games
It might be the TV or just how certain games go
NBA2k9 for instance, the red intro screen with KG has some bad banding
Right now I'm blaming it on me cheaping out and copping a Sanyo
IM using a panasonic HDMI btw

got one off of one of slickdeals sites....$4 shipped. works for a college student....

okay all HDMI cables are not the same, monster cables are better than the cheap cables sold at most stores and the ps3 has very few games that are actually1080p so it depends on what youre playing cause most games are shown in 720 if im not mistaken

If the game is able to push 1080p then you will see a big difference when playing games with the HDMI cable. Most games are 720p as stated on page 1. Themajority of HDMI cables are the same, so dont bother spending to much on a cable.

I have a 32 in samsung and I have the gamestop brand hdmi and it works great with my PS3
