PS3 Question

When I'm in PS3 menu my TV resolution is 1080i but when I start any game, it goes to 720p. How do I keep it with 1080i?

Uncheck the 720p check box under display settings. It will force everything to 1080i.

Not all games are 1080p resolution, check the back of the game cover and see what it is.

It up/down converts depending on the settings of the game. (Ie. If the game is supposed to run at 720p, that's the best it will do. It can down convert ifyou're running on an old tv, but it won't be any better than what the developers intended the game to be.) I don't think you can change it to stayat one resolution.

You won't see the difference between 720p and 1080i even if you wanted to.

A progressive signal (720p, 1080p) is generally better than a interlaced one (1080i). Also, it depends on your TV's native resolution. Like the guy abovesaid though, you won't be able to tell a difference if your TV is about 50" or less.
