Its kind of sad that a ton of people are considering leaving over some online play. I understand alot of people enjoy it, but damn, there are so many great offline experiences available. Give them a try

Xbox really doesn't have any exclusive titles that pique my interest.
Not really into 1st person shooters so Halo games have no appeal to me.
Not a Gears of War fan either.
PS3 has more exclusive titles that suit my gaming interests better, like God of War, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank etc.
I would get the new Nintendo console coming out next year since it's backward's compatible with Wii games as I always wanted to play the Super Mario Galaxy games.

I don't mind the offline play. I've had no internet at home since all my neighbors got wise and put passwords on their wifi a year ago so I put Android on the HTC HD2 and used wifi tethering since February of this year.
