Yo, you can never praise pupusas enough. Moms brought some home today. This has to be a favorite food of mine. Relleno with curtido and salsa de tomate >your life. For those unfamiliar, it's like a stuffed tortilla. (not my pic, but a sample)

Where can I get these in nyc? I've been fiending for some for a minute. I tried some arepas but it wasn't the same.
 
Im not Salvadorian, but my new favorite restaurant in Seattle is. The Papusas are like 2 bucks, and are ooo good. THe Molcajete is off the hook too and theyhave ensalada drink which is going to keep me in that place all summer.

Well now I stay out in Charles County. Iss a lil spot that has em. Moms used to cop from out Mount Pleasant in DC. A joint called "Moses". Don'tknow if u eva heard of it.

i'm black and i dig pupusas, lol... retroJtino, there's a spot next to 1223 in DC that always is good! cant think of the name...and its a spot insilver spring, around my way thats always hittin...
