that eghck!! mixtape that someone put up on here a while back still gets heavy rotation

I don't disagree, but then why did Kanye sign him? He must've seen something worth investing in.

Like homie said above, he's riding with the best producer in the game. So the last thing that should be in question is his production.
One interesting thing to me. If you're Kanye, building a label, and putting out a "GOOD MUSIC" complilation.....
Why is every single off that comp "Kanye West featuring..."?
You could have just as easily made "Mercy"......"Pusha T featuring", put Pusha's verse first, and set up Pusha for his album. Especially since Kayne's verse was terrible.

Even Big Sean said "Clique" was supposed to be his single and it somehow wound up "Kanye West featuring".
Strikes me as odd.

To me, that was done solo to set up 2Chainz' debut. You don't switch the beat to some awful trance/house sounding mess before 2Chainz' verse on purpose :lol

pusha will continue to beat around the bush on this beef in interviews.

^ that's a good point he was at the forefront while they were promoting the album.

Pusha just doesn't know how to ride momentum. That FOG tape was almost 2 years ago and in that time Big Sean has put out 1 album, a mixtape and he's about to release his 2nd album. Pusha always been a great rapper but he doesn't have it as a solo artist.
Yeah, him and Fabolous should put out an album of them being featured on other tracks

.  I mean, I like both of them, but when you think about your favorite verses from either, they're never on their own songs

i dont get it with pusha...he basically baited lil wayne to respond, and when he finally does, he makes fun of him for making a wack song

and doesn't diss him again..now he's throwing shots again? that dude confused word to young buck.

no one cares about Pusha outside of Clipse material...and its clear there will be no more of that.

sure he has wordplay but its clear this man simply can't make songs.

this "beef" is just a ploy to gain some attention for whatever project he is trying to push and you can see Wayne is too rich and drugged up to care.

I was a fan of the Clipse, but this man Pusha is sounding like a girl mentioning Young Money every chance he gets for the past 1 year+ at this point.

and Pusha will have to go platinum solo a couple times before he can be mentioned in Fab's class so stop the slander.

The thing about Good music is that sales come second to everybody on that label. I can damn near guarantee that when push drops the Music is going to be amazing. Is he going to sell a lot or have a HIT single i highly doubt it. He's been there and done that with the clipse & i don't think kanye signed him with the intention of making him a household name.

I hope this YMCMB vs. G.O.O.D. cold war ends so Drake and Kanye can get back in the studio together.

:lol They don't like one another though.

Yall act like Pusha T's reportoire isnt to forever push his album
back. This is half of the Clipse who were infamous for not knowing
what a release date was. He needs to put out more music & stop
worrying about Wayne & trying to be a reggae artist.

Ehhh . . . Kanye produced a few Thank Me Later cuts . . . Drake was also on the original version of All Of The Lights

And was on the remix . . .

I'd say the relationship is just a victim of Drake being too loyal to YM

Either way they don't gotta be best buddies to make dope music together

That was two years ago......but who knows

Eh, I've said this before, but I think you guys place too much stock on a lot of peripheral **** when it comes to music. "Promotion", interviews, media hits.

It makes artists seem bigger than they really are. It's music. He needs to put out music.

And you can say he doesn't know how to ride momentum, but that's not ALL under your control when you're signed to a label. If he was still pushing Re-Up, he could do whatever he wanted.

Look at my examples. Wiz didn't make "Bandz" a Wiz record. Ross didn't make "I'm A Boss" a Ross record. Does Kanye need more shine? Well then let these dudes live on these records.

Especially when they are the ones that make the record listenable.

2 Chainz got it right. Built the buzz himself, signed to a label and somehow is still getting more shine working with Good Music than some of the artists that are actually on the label.

Look at Sean. Single featuring Chris Brown. Single featuring Kanye. Single featuring Nikki. And on BOTH Good Music singles.

You might be right though, he may not have it as a solo artist, but I expected more to come out of this deal than a few features on "Kanye" songs. I didn't think Sean would pop like he did.

I guess we can still hope.

Neither did I.

So? You friends with everyone at your job or make money with?

Like I said.

for what it's worth, Pusha T is still the same as he's been with Clipse, and as a group they've always been pretty difficult to market by their label. just because he's signed to kanye doesn't mean it's any easier to push his style of rap than its been with Pharrell. just sayin. =/

Although I talk down on push...I know he can do better I was listening to the good album and he did his thing on that joint with dream n mase..
