That’s why old heads like me still hold on to the 90s. To much “men” who like rap music today put to much emotion behind their favorite artist. This is actually a good battle but now people want to bring up age, money, hairstyles, ‘Pusha took things to far talking about diseases’, who’s banged prettier women, hit songs, recognition, and I’m sure skin complexion is probably playing in some people’s minds also (the fact Drake is Jewish and half white) is having people automatically reading for him.
Imagine all this itch ashness going on when It was BIG vs Pac or Nas vs Hov? Drake fans are mad salty right now, but was giving Meek Mill that work when they were going at it, with a new meme every 2 minutes.
Drake fans act like the kid who takes his basketball and goes home because he’s getting whooped on the court.
Agreed, I tend to put a lot of the stuff that's going on now on us 'old heads'. Dudes didn't want to call it out for what it is because they didn't want to be seen as a "hater" or whatever. The ones that did got hit with the "old n dusty" and "irrelevant" talk. Instead it was co-signed and allowed to fester, I understand every generation has to find their sound and some definitely did. Dishing it out but can't take it routine is laughable, and used to be an automatic L, not anymore.
