Question about Hmong people

Why do some Hmong parents give their children names like Unique, Infinity, or even Sunshine? I swear I just met a cat who's name was Paradise no lie. Is it the same reason Americans put stupid Chinese (I'm American so itsallgoodbaby) tattoos like "water" on their arms?

Huh? I know hella Hmong people and none have names like paradise or sunset.
