Question about Nike Air Woven

Hello Niketalk!
I have a question about Nike Air Wovens for those who own this.

I normally wear US 8 for most Nikes including Dunks, AF1s and Air Max (1, 90, 95).

Since the air wovens are slip on with no strings, I was wondering if its possible to tighten these shoes.

Are you able to pull that tab-like thing attached around the tongue?

Or, should I just go half size down and get a 7.5?

Unfortunately, the air woven I'm looking for is available only in US8 at the site I found and I don't want to wear thick socks

since I'm buying these for the summer.

Any opinions counts about the sizing.

Do they fit smaller than usual Nikes?
