Question about rings

I've never been the type to wear rings but recently, I came across one made by Mark McNairy and I just want to know what's the difference between a pinky ring and a ring thats worn on your index/middle/or ring finger?  This is what I'm trying to get, but on my middle finger. I just don't want the face of the ring (the F-O part) to look too small or feminine (if that makes sense)

It's just a smaller ring that's worn on the pinky. If the ring isn't too small then wear it on whatever finger you want, even if its smaller then it's not a real big deal. Wear it and enjoy.
