is it possible to receive a scholarship even though you've already completed a year in college?

There are scholarships for literally ANYTHING you can think of, within reason.

okay, i thought you had to do all that stuff before you started though.
so for academic scholarships how would it work. do they see the classes and grades you're making and just offer you one?
or go through and apply like when you first applied to go to the school

It depends on the school. Most of the time, a school will offer you a financial aid package (when you sayyou need it on your application,) and this package will include an academic scholarship (as long as you've given them your transcripts.)

Otherwise, you could simply talk to your admission counselor. They'll be able to direct you to scholarships that you're eligible for. Fastweb hasscholarships for days as well.

I'm probably going to have to wait till after next semester because I have a C in english.
thanks.

yeah i know a white kid who went to a black college for the full ride. it was normal to him because he grew up around black people his whole life.

this site has a lot. you gotta check for restrictions though, a lot are regional or only for certain types of cancer i think. And for some, i think you gottawrite about your experience with cancer, so if you were too young to remember, it might be kinda difficult to write about it
