Question for Scion TC Owners

I know everyone on NT drives Chargers, M3's, or Lambo's but I'm looking for some insight on the Scion Tc.

Test drove a new one today (Manual) and the clutch was light as a feather. Then I tested two used ones (07 and 08) with about 40K miles on it for comparison. Both cars' clutches felt extremely heavy compared to the new one.

I was just wondering if any owners could chime in and let me know if these cars had been thrashed or if the clutch/flywheel just gets heavy and degraded overtime. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Any owners have additional comments on their cars?

honestly would rather get a civic si if you're planning to stay within that area of cars even if it's a little more $..also i hear new tc's are coming out, is that what you're planning to get? i guess the new one looks better than the older models..

Why? Too small? Slow? Boring? Rattling?

Yoursciontc sucks.

Scionlife.com is where its at for Scions.

I had a tc for 2 years + and its a very good car. "Boring" cause you probably had an automatic or its too "slow" for you (as if you need the extra speed, lets be serious). The car has alot of torque, and its a quick car. Not fast, but quick. It doesnt feel cheaply made, its not a damn domestic.

But thats subjective to everyone. I might be one of the few that hasnt had rattling problems, the only really "problem" I had was body roll on turns but after getting the TRD rear sway bar that pretty much went away. Theres also alot of aftermarket support for these cars. The clutch probaby did go through alot of wear and tear, brand new the clutch is very soft. With pure pricing its basically impossible to get it below MSRP, try getting one used.

Not everyone needs a speed demon of a car. Im looking to pick up a Civic Si, im not touching an M3, but real car enthusiast can appreciate good, hard work on any kind of vehicle.
