Question on FAFSA

On FAFSA it says the application is due on June but my school said the priority deadline is Feb 15... 

Whats the difference and why are the dates different?

There are federal, state, and school deadlines.

If your school says 2/15, then it's 2/15.

The priority deadline is the date students must file their FAFSA to receive priority consideration in the financial aid awarding process. The priority deadline determines the type of funding you will be eligible for and when you are awarded.
