Question regarding my laptop's battery.

My laptop's battery doesn't fully charge anymore, so I'm assuming I need a new battery. I have to keep it charged, so it would stay on. It usually stops at 48%, 52%, 56%, 61 %, 71%, 76%, 81% and 90%. And my laptop just says it's charging.

What could have caused this problem? Do I just need to buy a new battery?

Yes, I know, I need to buy a Mac.

batteries have a certain lifecycle. youre supposed to charge it up to 100%, let it die at 0%, charge it up, let it die, etc. youre not supposed to leave it on the charger all day, or let it go to 50% and then recharge. Im assuming that this is what caused your problem. And yes you need to buy a new battery

batteries have a certain lifecycle. youre supposed to charge it up to 100%, let it die at 0%, charge it up, let it die, etc. youre not supposed to leave it on the charger all day, or let it go to 50% and then recharge. Im assuming that this is what caused your problem. And yes you need to buy a new battery

I usually let it go down to 10%, recharge it and repeat. I guess, I'll go buy a new battery soon.
