I am very close to buying a pair of DS French blue 7s, but the seller a statement in the auction saying that because the shoes were 7 years old,
that they do not suggest wearing the shoes. The seller wrote "Buyer wear at your own risk, because they were made 7 years ago. Suitable forcollecting"
I want to buy french blue 7s, but to wear them.

To anyone who has Frenchies, how to do they hold up over time?

thanks

You can still wear em. They should hold up. Mine are fine I just wore them like 2 weeks ago. Only thing is that the rubber on the front toe of the shoe willyellow if it hasn't already. Other than that you should be good

The only way i can see these cracking is if there is LOTS of yellowing around the midsole which tends to happen to some Olympic 7's.

But 2002 AJ VII's hold up well...so if no yellowing, no problem.

Why is this the 3rd post I've locked in a span of 2 minutes regarding a shoe's wearability??

People, especially you new guys, PLEASE USE THE SNEAKER REVIEWS FORUM FOR QUESTIONS ASKING ABOUT SHOE DURABILITY, PERFORMANCE, QUALITY...ETC...ETC...

THANKS!
